The Artist Behind The Camera | 2012

I’ve never really been the type of person to just jump in front of the camera & flash a smile. Maybe it has something to due with the fact that I’m always behind the camera, or maybe it’s because I’m not so photogenic. However Savannah, being the sweet sister she is, offered to take some pictures of me. I knew younger sisters were good for something. ;) Joking!
I feel sometimes like I’m a stranger to the blogger world, and would like to know EACH  of you all better. Not just as “bloggers,” but as friends.  Now I’ll stop being a stranger by telling you a little about myself. . .
I LOVE to laugh & people who make me laugh! :) I also love snowboarding, horses, big ranches, music, playing the fiddle, being barefoot, animals, soccer, baking, reading, the colors blue/yellow, coffee, sweet tea, small towns, rainy days, rodeos, my Savior, watermelon, hanging with friends, bonfires, cheese cake, ice cream, sports in general, watching movies, the drive-in movies, photography (well duh;)) and so, so, SO much more!! The list goes on!
I can be quite at times, and crazy at times. I suppose it depends who I’m with. ;)

I’m not too fond of spiders, heights, darkness, snakes, needles, big city driving, sharks, the ortho, ect...
Did I mention that I love the color blue!! I’ve been lately obsessed with painting my nails for some reason. Haha!
I’m a pretty simple girl.
Three random facts about me? 1. I’ve never been stung by any sort of bee, wasp, or hornet. 2. I taught my cat to sit like a dog. 3. I’ve been scuba diving in the ocean before.

I got saved by my Savior when I was 14. I was on a lawn mower and I just started thinking about all He has done for me, and all the beauty He gave us to enjoy. I realized right then and there that I wanted to follow Him. Neat story, huh?
One of the reasons why I fell in love with photography is because of the beauty I got to capture through a simple lens. It was love & I never turned back! :-)
My future consists of continuing my photography business & going to the community college here in our small little town to get my AA. I just passed the test to get in today! I was pretty surprised that I passed. For one, I hadn’t studied, & I went to bed at 1:30am! I actually got a score that I was happy with. I’m so thankful!!
I look forward to my future! I’ll be pretty busy this year with my photography business, college, and soccer.
I hoped you enjoyed getting to know a little more about me! :-) I’d LOVE to get to know each of y’all better. Why not do a post all about yourself on your own blog!? :) I’d love to see it.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

Rodeo | 2012

Flashy belt buckles, cowgirl hats, gorgeous horses, & fancy boots!? Yes please! Let me tell you, I was in love! There’s something about going to a rodeo that makes you all giddy inside. Just like a little kid in a candy store! The pro west rodeo comes here to our little town once a year. It provides great entertainment for the young, and the young at heart.
:) Hey!

Cowgirl boots, an appropriate attire for the rodeo.
Mr. Cowboy...Photo by Anna Rose

My sister older Lacey being well,  herself. ;)
Y’all remember Anna, right? She was mentioned in my post HERE.

Future cowboys right there!

Huddle time!
This rodeo clown was a crackup! When ever he moved his arms or legs, so would the puppets attached. It was actually quite creepy. I think I just might have nightmares. ;)

You go girl!
Sadly it got away. :/

One of the melody riders with my dream horse!

The horse smiled for me! *Yay!*
No, he’s not wearing a skirt...it’s a kilt. ;)

Lady bugs like going to rodeos too you know. ;)
All the horses were just gorgeous!! They were all so muscular, and well built.
Miss pro-west rodeo right there folks!
Yeah, they got a little dirty!
The melody riders doing their thing. I don’t know how in the world they learn the patterns that they preform! It amazes  me in many ways.

This is the leader of the melody riders. She seems to be having a grand ol’ time! I mean seriously, who couldn’t?
Your N.E. Washington princess right there!

Sure, even princesses have to kick up their feet every now, and then.
Geez, isn’t she a beautiful one!?
Sarah & Anna :)

The ground wasn’t the best this past weekend. It had just rained, and was super muddy! Some of the horses almost slipped. It was quite scary! They had to plow it up every once in awhile. Thankfully no one got seriously hurt.
Future cowboy! Isn’t he adorable!? I think he was pretty intrigued with my camera.
I’ve seen a lot of adorable things in my life, but this is by far is the cutest! Yes, this little girl did barrel race! She was somewhere around four I’m guessing.

Cotton candy! It’s a love/hate relationship with me and it. Why does it have to be so bad for you!?
Abby was so sweet as to share some of her cotton candy with me. What a sweetie!
Me and Anna :) Thanks for taking the picture Sarah!
Yeah, this bull was not too happy about the whole thing & was trying to jump out. Craziness!
Lacey, Sarah, and myself.
After a long day...
Flowers!

Myself, a bullrider, and Sarah!
Yep! We got a few signatures from bull riders, no big deal.

I was so happy because this morning it was all cloudy, and then it cleared up to this!

On our way back listening to One Direction with the windows down, is how we role!

Bull Ridding!

Barrel Racing!

Team Roping!

Bronc Ridding, and more!

We made a quick coffee stop. My latest and greatest obsession, as mentioned numerous times. ;)

This day ended with a gorgeous sunset, and once again; it was all captured on film.
Have any of you ever been to a rodeo? If so, what was YOUR favorite part!? :)

    Thanks for stopping by!
